Satya Sunrise Incense Review

Shrinivas Sugandhalaya is probably best known for the famous and widely loved Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa in the iconic blue box.  They do however offer many other scents.  Although I have found that it is sometimes a bit hit and miss with those other scents.  For instance Satya Patchouli Forest is absolutely wonderful while this offering from the same Oriental collection is a bit generic and plain.

All of the scents in the oriental collection are built on a base of sandalwood and vanilla and there is plenty of that present in this stick.  There is also a citrus like note that breaks up the monotony of the warm, sweet, earthy sandalwood/vanilla combination to an extent.  It is hard to find fault with this stick other than it is a bit plain.  It doesn’t smell bad nor does it make you want to burn it over and over again to enjoy the fragrance.  It is just sort of “there” and not much else.

Personally, I kind of like it just for the fact that it is a bit plain.  It won’t cause your clothes to smell like you work in an incense shop and the scent doesn’t linger like relatives after a holiday meal.  It is just a plain, light and pleasant scent that you could probably use as a sort of all purpose air freshener perhaps.
