Morning Star Green Tea Incense Review

Morning Star Green Tea Incense Review

I am not a fan of drinks that are boiled water and various leaves or beans.  This means that I don’t care for coffee or tea and I get my caffeine from a can.  However that does not mean that I don’t enjoy the scent of coffee or tea leaves.  I am especially fond of Captain Picard’s favorite, Earl Grey. Just not the actual prepared and ready to be consumed version.

So when it comes to tea scented incense I am pretty picky.  Fortunately for me (and for tea lovers everywhere) Morning Star’s Green Tea smells startlingly like green tea leaves when you first take it out of the package.  Fresh, light and soothing.  How that will translate when the stick is lit is a mystery I am about to solve.

Well, it doesn’t smell like you lit a pile of tea leaves on fire so I am pleased about that.  I actually find the scent to be extremely pleasant.  It is a fresh, lightly crisp scent that is very centering.  It also seems there is a very tiny of note of jasmine or something very like jasmine in there as well.  I confess to being a bit surprised at the scent actually and I think it would be a great scent to meditate with.  I had never tried it before up to this point but I am rapidly becoming a convert as the stick continues to burn down.  Like every other Morning Star incense I have reviewed up to this point the scent is delicate and not heavy or powerful at all.  I confess to enjoying that aspect of Morning Star sticks quite a bit.  That is exactly why I think this stick would be a good one to meditate with.  The scent is very relaxing and calming while being fresh and crisp.

Get a box here and repeat after me, OM.
